Even a mission fellowship—a young church plant like River South that is, by definition, a mission outreach of another church—is obviously called by God to serve other people. It is a privilege to connect with and extend ministry to those with whom we share a community.

Past and current ministry efforts include service within the local volunteer Fire Department, a community-wide Easter event for young children and their families, work days for victims of regional natural disasters, and a fresh commitment to our community through a newly-elected Board of Deacons.

In addition, through the study opportunities available in small group gatherings, and in social events such as our annual golf tournament and seasonal backyard barbecues, we strive to maintain simple and meaningful contact with our neighbors and new friends.
