The marvelous Hebrew acrostic psalm, Psalm 119, is an ode to the high value the author placed on the reading and study of the Word of God. In every age, the followers of Jesus Christ look to the Scriptures for wisdom, insight and direction. “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.” (v. 105)
At River Church South, we join with many fellow churches in recognizing the centrality of the Scriptures in our preaching and teaching—in our children’s classes, with our youth, and in every opportunity God grants us to teach adults. Each week provides several opportunities for instruction, discussion and reflection.
